Punk Tapes

Wall 1 and 2 showing a collection of punk cassette tapes surrounding the common Indian Gulmohar flower. The tapes are a wide mix representing sub-genres and several decades from anarchopunk to classic, postpunk to to more contemporary. The work was created in Mumbai India for a music festival with the theme of "Punk". An interesting mashup considering India's post-colonial history with Britain which many point to as the birth of Punk music.
