Adidas Originals

Color, art and Mexican inspiration are combined in the new mural that Farid Rueda painted for adidas Originals at his CDMX Flagship store.

On this occasion, the international artist was selected to intervene in the flagship with its style full of symbolism of Mexican culture. For this work, he devised a piece that incorporates elements of everyday life on three levels or three stripes that refer to the brand's three stripes:

The lower part is the basic element that supports the composition that symbolizes the underworld through a skull, which pays tribute to the Day of the Dead and celebrates life by remembering loved ones who are not present.

The middle zone gives stability to the composition, it represents the earthly with the jaguar as a symbol of strength and energy.

And the upper zone personifies spirituality in work with the eagle warrior, symbolizing courage, spirituality, wisdom, experience. It is at the top because it is the animal that motivates us to continue and flee.

Throughout the game, iconic adidas Originals elements such as the clover in the jaguar plume and the sole of the classic Superstar are in the background.
