‘Spirit Code IV’

Description

‘Spirit Code IV’ was painted by Peter Seaton @ctoart in South Melbourne in April 2021. It is an example of blockchain-authenticated art and is listed on Rarible with the current highest bid at AUD$7,000. The first image shows it in the act of being 'destroyed' so that it’s value lies in its digital form alone. Is this the future of art/street art?

I love street art. And I love sharing the images that artists paint on walls, whether it's here in Melbourne or in other visually exciting cities. I've been photographing art in Melbourne since 2005 and love being part of the street art community.
