In februari 2021 werden meerdere electriciteitskastjes omgevormd tot verborgen juweeltjes onder de naam Chroma-Tourmaline. Een verwijzing naar de edelsteen toermalijn, maar ook naar tour en Maline, de Sint-Romboutstoren en Mechelen.

Het personage in dit werk van kunstenaar Lieven Hendrickx, voorgesteld door een secretarisvogel, behandelt een moeilijk onderwerp dat elke kunstenaar bekend in de oren zal klinken: de balans vinden tussen de waarde van je kunstwerk en ervan leven. Hoe ver moet een kunstenaar gaan om te overleven en op welk punt 'verkoop je je ziel'? Terwijl de kunstenaar dit constant afweegt, kijkt de hele wereld mee.

Het shirt, bedekt met Instagram-iconen, symboliseert de wereld van de sociale media. Naast het creëren van kunst moet een kunstenaar tegenwoordig ook content creëren. Hoe val je op en voorkom je dat je verdrinkt in een zee van lawaai? Al deze vragen wegen zwaar op de kunstenaar. Ondanks de felle kleuren van het werk kun je het gewicht van het onderwerp voelen. Wie zei dat filosofische dilemma's niet kleurrijk konden zijn?
