The 'empty bookcase' is opposite the library in the Walthamstow district. A neighborhood where many residents are not well off. The library is therefore very important to these people. Each stack of books in this 'empty bookcase' tells a personal story and comes from the residents who in turn have been allowed to read these books thanks to the library.
