For this work, Vanessa Teodoro drew inspiration from African patterns and pop art, opting to use only black and withe - the colors of the Lisbon flag - to "ensure greater harmony across the various surfaces without the piece becoming visually overwhelming due to its graphic density". The artist also sought to "discourage, mitigate, and even camouflage illegal interventions" in responde to the "constant vandalism affecting this infrastructure."
