Love

Christophe Lequarré, who works under the artist's name Spyk, is a Belgian artist from Liège who began with graffiti at the age of 18 in 1990. During a trip to New York he discovered the world of graffiti. It was a decisive encounter, a revelation.

Light, whether natural or artificial, is a central element in Spyk's work.

On this mural you can see a giant fist, a closed fist with four rings, one on each finger. The word 'love' seems a little out of sync with the closed fist, which is more reminiscent of a brawl.
