The short Walk starts at the Marketplace (Opladener Platz), follows the Birkenberstraße with little Shops and funny Past up's. Over a footbridge you enter the "New Railwaycity", witch arise on the aerea of an old Bahnausbesserungswerk. Right hand you will see the old "Kesselhaus" and an old Watertower, which is today the home of an Karnevalsverein.

By the Kulturausbesserungswerk KAW you will see the Hall of fame. The KAW, ist name was deducted form the Bahnausbesserungswerk is an autonom Culturcenter. From here walk along old industry buildings to the next Mural: "No violence agoanst women". Now cross the Campus bridge across the railsways, pass the "Künstler Bunker" from the second World War and go to the Hör Bar. In This area are many typical opladner Pub's. On the Way back to the Market Place (Market every Thursday) you will past the funny past up at the small Licorce Store "Dunkle Materie. If you want to make a little detour, went in to Uhlandstreet. At the entrance to the Cinema Scale is a litte past up.
