Josh Warrington Mural

Street artist Akse P19 is behind the new work under the A58 flyover on the edge of Leeds city centre.

The 'Leeds Warrior' boxer Josh Warrington fulfilled his dream and claimed the IBF world featherweight title in 2018 at his beloved Elland Road stadium in Leeds.

He said: "The mural is massive to me, it's like sort of a reward for all the hard work and trying to represent the city.

"I hope it can inspire people when they drive past it and just remind themselves that Josh Warrington was just a lad off the local council estate who went on to world title glories and beyond that.

"Hopefully it inspires many generations to come."

The mural has been created to celebrate Warrington's new partnership with urban streetwear brand 11 Degrees Clothing.
