Miei Sato

Balloon

An environmental artwork which captures and objects around the canvas as well as referring to the history of this place, connecting the mountains towards the north to the sea in the south. Illustrated are several trees and a fragmented image of the former settlement in Kobe. The balloons are a symbol of a new beginning, to restart, and to recover.
