The artist collective "strives forward" initiated this mural design on its own initiative in 2011. The Hanoverian artist Kurt Schwitters should be given a monument with the theme of the design. "Leben ist eine herrliche Erfindung" (Life is a wonderful invention). This sentence from Theo van Doesburg quoted by Kurt Schwitters gave the wall the groundbreaking statement. The artist collective consisted mainly of media designers. Other works by individual contributors (e.g. KaLa) can also be found on other walls in Hanover. This mural has not been visible sinvce 2019 after the completion of a new apartment block.
