Leo Martin

Leo Martin was a Flemish artist, best known as half of the comedy duo Gaston and Leo.
He was a musician, clarinet player, orchestra leader and actor, and used to perform with his orchestra in Ghent, with Bobbejaan Schoepen and in Het Witte Paard in Blankenberge. He died on March 18, 1993, from lung cancer. For Gaston Berghmans, who afterwards said that Leo had always been a brother to him, this was an extremely heavy blow.
