M.U.R. staat voor "Modulable Urbain Réactif" in het Frans. Deze Franse vereniging heeft als doel urban art te promoten en biedt straatkunstenaars in heel Europa de mogelijkheid hun werk tentoon te stellen. Voor de werking in Gent werden jonge, lokale kunstenaars (16-30 jaar) door een jury geselecteerd en kregen zo de kans hun talenten te tonen.

De 30e muurschildering hier is een bijzondere: de jury koos een duo van twee jonge graffitikunstenaars die het afgelopen jaar hun talent in de straten van Gent hebben getoond. Ze creëerden een mix van alle stijlen die ze beheersen en laten zien: van letters tot (strip)figuren en realistische portretten.

M.U.R. stands for "Modulable Urbain Réactif" in French. This French association aims to promote urban art and offers street artists spaces all of Europe to exhibit their works. Here, young local artists (16-30 years) are being selected by a jury, giving them the chance to show their talents.

The 30th mural here is a special one: the jury selected a duo of 2 young graffiti artists that have shown their talent the past year in the streets of Ghent. They created a mix with all the styles they manage and show: from letters to cartoon characters and realistic portraits.
