OMGVanEyckWasHere: Covering the Uncovered

The first mural made for the project 'OMG Van Eyck was here!', celebrating the brothers Van Eyck who are well known for their altarpiece or 'The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb' (dating from 1432).

With this intimate and delicate mural Hyuro aka Tamara Djurovic, refers to the many flowers, nature and richely decorated clothes that can be found on the famous altar piece. You can also recognize typical subjects of her work like displacement and searching for security, intimacy and relationships ... keeping every image a big mystery at the same time.

A project for #omgvaneychwashere by Stad Gent / Cultuur Gent.
