Our mural will be created in a spot almost entirely hidden by a tree. We begin by referencing the ideas of identity and energy, ultimately aiming to show that it is the energy of people—their vital sap—that makes trees grow. Through our work, we want to portray the community as a network, a system that mirrors the order found in nature. Just like plants sprout underground—initially invisible—so do the fundamental social bonds develop quietly and gradually. Every minute has its cause and consequence; every year, every season, and every day matters.
