An original illustrated limerick, written and painted by the muralist, Angry Dan. The piece was inspired by JMW Turner’s visits to The Lake District as a young man, and how these trips informed his groundbreaking weather paintings. The piece is part of Angry Dan’s Cumbrian Limerick Trail - a trail of 5 murals about great British works of art that were inspired by the local landscape.
Thanks to Blank Wall Assassins for commissioning, iSH Ltd for backing the project, Cleator Moor Town Council for support, and The Columba Club for permissions.
