I don’t really plan my walls - I paint instinctively where I can. With this one, I was thinking about the intensity of memories, especially after feeling broken (which is why I painted the letters like shattered glass). My walls often carry this theme of light emerging from darkness, a reminder that hope can exist even when things seem bleak.
