Fintan Magee

Nicknamed the "Australian Banksy", Fintan Magee plunges into the world of graffiti at the age of 13. In 2010, he moved away from traditional “graffiti” to favor the creation of large frescoes in which he skilfully mixes the violence of reality with the sweetness of dreams. These works challenge, mark and question.  In its surrealist universe, art only serves to reinvent reality. His creations explore the themes of waste, consumption, loss, transition and the environment. Over the past few years he has consolidated his position among Australia's leading public artists and has traveled extensively, including London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Kiev, Atlanta, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Moscow, Rome and Paris.
