Le Pêcheur

 A admirer, la figure d’un jeune pêcheur et ses quatre mains qui sont le symbole d’un savoir-faire qui réapparait comme essentiel. « J’ai voulu rendre hommage au premier port de pêche de France et m’associer à cette histoire » explique Telmo. « C’est d’ailleurs avec plaisir que j’ai découvert que l’homme qui habite cette maison est lui-même pêcheur. »
Là aussi, impossible de découvrir le regard de ce personnage qui pourrait être n’importe qui. « Les mains sont l’élément central » reprend Telmo. « Elles représentent un savoir-faire, celui du pêcheur, et suggère également tout ce qu’on peut réaliser grâce à elles. Elles donnent du mouvement à la fresque. » Une création inspirée par le confinement, période si particulière qui a marqué chacun d’entre nous. « Les gens se sont rendus compte qu’on avait perdu petit à petit l’usage de nos mains » détaille l’artiste. « Tout est tellement facile dans notre société où il suffit d’aller au supermarché pour acheter tout ce que l’on veut. Mais si un jour le supermarché ferme, comment fait-on ? Avec le confinement, les gens ont redécouvert des savoir-faire comme celui du pêcheur qui pourra toujours se nourrir ». Une symbolique qui prend d’autant plus de sens à Boulogne-sur-Mer

Here too, it is impossible to discover the look of this character who could be anyone. “Hands are the central element” resumes Telmo. “They represent a know-how, that of the fisherman, and also suggest everything that can be achieved thanks to them. They give movement to the fresco. “A creation inspired by confinement, a very special period that marked each of us. “People realized that we had gradually lost the use of our hands,” explains the artist. “Everything is so easy in our society where you just have to go to the supermarket to buy whatever you want. But if one day the supermarket closes, what do we do? With confinement, people have rediscovered skills like that of the fisherman who will always be able to feed himself ”. Symbolism that takes on all the more meaning in Boulogne-sur-Mer
