Graphic surgery

Razzle

By comparing their photographic work around the collapse of old factories, Erris Huigens and Gysbert Zijlstra detected the omnipresence of geometric forms. Together they began to clean up these images and generate a kind of repertoire of geometric and abstract forms, rooted in our post-industrial era. Their black and white paintings, extremely precise and mechanical, show the buildings and the city as living organisms.
Mural painting created within the scope of the “4th Bien Urbain edition”.
