Alexander Ivanov, Laetitia Hildebrand (Laeti)

At the Minna-Todenhagen-Brücke Skatepark.

The artists chose the theme of 35 years of reunification after the fall of the Berlin Wall in a skate context.

The idea: The bridge is the connection between West and East. There are also hip-hop references with the hands: "West Coast" for West Berlin and "East Coast" for East Berlin.

Laeti first painted the background in shades of grey with line paint. It's a visual effect with the extension of the bridge (with the pipes in perspective).

Aleave found the skater woman and both sprayed them together. Laeti painted the skate with the gold rim and wheels. West in green, East is in red. "W. - E" on the girl's hoodie.
