Description

The picts were an ancient people native to Scotland in the middle ages and in many way the reason Scots still exist. The mystery surrounding them is intoxicating, the only recorded written history of their existence comes from Roman and Viking encounters. Labelled 'painted people' aka picts due to the blue pigment and tattoo work that covered their bodie, they were hardy warriors who faught off countless invasions. Pictish stone carvings are the lasting evidence of their existence by their own hand, scattered allover Monoliths across the east coast of Scotland, the markings similar to Ogham but near impossible to fully understand. They managed to master carving granite, a very tough stone to work with, but not easily weathered thus it holds their carvings to this day. They worshiped many dieties as Pagans, adopting varying gods along the way, however eventually were converted by the sweeping wave of Christian influence. It is just one example of many indigenous cultures being written out of history to this day, culturally eradicated and/ or displaced. History repeats and loops through the ages.

Hunter

Tiny Tim
Started out hunting the streets in Antwerp, and completely bitten by the 'street art' virus. And the only cure is: HUNT SOME MORE. I love showing people all the amazing Belgian artists, run street art tours in my city and occasionally facilitate new mural projects. I love to travel and meet other hunters and artists. So hit me up when you're in town.
