Bahnhof Braunschweig Gliesmarode

In the process of renovations at the railway station Braunschweig Gliesmarode, the artwork by Nasim Naji was commissioned in 2022 by Deutsche Bahn to enhance the entrance area.

The artwork shows a lion's head with a detail depicting the historic lion statue in Braunschweig's Burgplatz. On the opposite side, a traveller waiting at the tracks during sunset or sunrise can be seen along with a close-up of a lion's eye.
