Dan Geffert aka SPONK (born 1989 in Bochum) is a German graffiti artist, abstract painter, and industrial designe. Raised and based in Gelsenkirchen, he is one of the most prolific forces in the Ruhr region's contemporary street art. He studied Biology at the Ruhr University Bochum before shifting focus to the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design.
