Oliver Räke, widely known in the street art community by his moniker MAGIC (or MAGIC ONE), is a legendary pioneer of the West German graffiti scene. He started spraying in 1983, making him one of the absolute first-generation graffiti writers in North Rhine-Westphalia. Over the decades, he has achieved international legend status within the urban subculture. Outside of his street interventions, he works successfully as a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, and independent fine artist.
