Moni van Rheinberg (full name Moni Marielen van Rheinberg; July 28, 1952 – February 8, 2006) was a highly influential German visual artist and painter based in Essen. Long before contemporary graffiti or pop-art crews dominated the Ruhr region, she spent decades pioneering vibrant, socially conscious, and large-scale public art transformations across the city.
