"I grew up in a time when good aerosol cans were hard to come by, they were expensive and it took some effort to stack them.
So wasting paint was never an option. You would use your cans to the last drop.
These days I'm often surprised to find spray cans in the bushes near legal spots or train stations that still have enough paint left to sketch half a piece.
I don't care that writers might have too much money these days.
But what worries me is the environmental impact of just throwing paint away. Basically, it's chemical waste.
...and even if you make sure your cans are recycled, it's far better to empty them to the last drop before disposing of them."
"We are currently working on establishing the environmental organization "The Aerosol Alliance", which will also deal with the topic of recycling aerosol cans. Malaccai's works of art can be found from Spain to China, Mexico, all of Europe and Rheinberg. The Spanish artist currently lives in Copenhagen with his family. This is his seventh time at the Artlon!

Hombre SUK: the Mannheim-born street artist alias Pablo Fontagnier is one of the national and international leading character painters on the scene. So far he has been able to show his work in cities such as Berlin, Bilbao, Eindhoven, Jerusalem, Moscow, New York, Shanghai, Warsaw and Zurich. Pablo currently lives as a graphic designer &amp; illustrator in Nuremberg.</pre><div><br></div>

<div>The bridge at Bismarchstrasse is a wonderful place to see some smaler arts. The pillars are decorated with different themes. This mural was created within a campaign called "There is always hope" by Hombre and Deyaa Rambo. Hombre is from Mannheim and Deyaa is from Saudi Arabia.&nbsp;</div>

<div>The theme of the mural reflects the purpose of the building. It is s medical center with a pharmacy in the ground floor.&nbsp;<br><br>The mural was made by Hombre and Mike Arthur around 2007 and is meanwhile slightly damaged.</div>

<div>In August 2012 the Graffitipark opened. The administration of Mannheim made the area between castle and river available for legal spraying. There are&nbsp; some rules for spraying though: every spraying needs to be notified in advance; spraying until 22 pm;&nbsp; need to dispose the own trash; a member of ADDICTZ e.V. needs to be present to document the pictures. Each spraying not keeping the rules is considered illegal.<br><br>Each year in the park is held the MYTYPE Graffiti Jam session. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1_9MvLEDCE">Click here</a> for a video with the highlights of 2017.<br><br>The name of the artist referes to the first picture posted here. <div>This mural is dedicated to the local soccer society SVW Waldhof and shows six people who are of Waldhof origin. I will try to find out who exactly it is. The initiative of this mural was given by the SVW fan union. The location of the mural was choosen carefully and expresses the connection between the old Waldhof, where the soccer society was found snd the new Waldhof, where the team is playing nowadays. <br><br>The artist Hombre (Pablo Fontagnier), born in Mannheim, studied graphic design and is working internationally. He is part of the Mannheim located crew<em> True Rokin‘ Soul Crew</em> (TRS-Crew) and the well known german crew <em>Stick Up Kids</em> (SUK).</div>
