Hendrik Beikirch (born March 6, 1974, in Kassel) is a German graffiti and street artist who lives and works in Koblenz. He is also known by his artist name "ecb". He creates black-and-white portraits, which he paints on building facades, canvases, and paper. His work is influenced by intimate encounters with people. Comprising only black-and-white portrait paintings, Beikrich's oeuvre forms a striking painterly counterposition to the current distorting and aestheticizing media world.
