About the artist

Born and raised in São Paulo, EDMX is an artist who finds beauty in the urban chaos. He transforms cityscapes using spray paint, stencils, and augmented reality, offering a unique perspective on reality. Notably, EDMX is the sole South American artist featured in "Street Art in times of Corona 2020," a significant recognition. He has also achieved international acclaim, receiving awards like first place in the American Art Awards 2022 for Sculpture-Representational and the top spot in the Global Art Awards 2018 Dubai for Mixed Media. With over 20 years of experience in animation, EDMX has honed his skills to a fine art. His talents have reached global stages through invitations to prominent art festivals worldwide, including Meeting of Styles in Germany, Kosovo, and Miami, showcasing his innovative creations. His sustainable installation using 800 recycled spray cans at the 5th International Fine Art Graffiti Biennial 2022 in São Paulo underscores his commitment to both art and sustainability. Moreover, being featured in prestigious publications like "2020 Beyond Words: A Street Art Guide to a Breathtaking Year" and "Caos on Canvas" signifies his impact on the street art scene. He´s also participated at the frist tree editions of Windown Wonderland project as an animator. A pivotal moment in EDMX's career came with his recognition in the Arte Laguna Prize, a testament to his artistic prowess and unique contribution to the urban art landscape.
