About the artist

ASEM Navarro is an urban artist who combines his career as a Graffiti writer with his skills as an Illustrator, seeking a balance between the strength of urban art and the poetry of the most artisanal Illustration, creating a contrast full of energy, where he reflects his emotions and experiences. Active in Graffiti since the late 90s, his art has evolved specializing in the field of portraiture, without losing the roots of his origins, working on his unique urban writing. His work is movement and expressiveness, with character and personality in each strokes. The meaning of ASEM is "Angela always in me" (in Spanish: Angela-Siempre-En-Mi), an acronym that use to perpetuate the memory of his mother, who has give him the love and passion for art. Through his style, try to combine the contrast between the classic and the contemporary, constantly drawing, recapitulating ideas in a visceral and spontaneous way, learning and evolving to give the best in each work.
