De vier kleurrijke muurschilderingen aan het START.huis in de Leuvensestraat vormen samen een inspirerend kunstproject rond het thema "Droom groot, start klein". Het werk ontstond uit een samenwerking tussen kinderen uit Vilvoorde, de creatieve ateliers van Het KunstKot en vier lokale kunstenaars: Joris Silverans, Eva Lynen, Simon Lynen en Marion Beeck.

Tijdens workshops gaven kinderen vorm aan hun dromen, ideeën en toekomstbeelden. De kunstenaars vertaalden deze creatieve collages elk in hun eigen herkenbare stijl, waardoor vier unieke panelen ontstonden die samen één harmonieus geheel vormen. De levendige kleuren, speelse vormen en uiteenlopende beeldtaal weerspiegelen de rijkdom aan talent, fantasie en diversiteit binnen de stad.
