DesOrdes Creativas é un festival internacional de arte na rúa que se celebra cada ano en Ordes ( A Coruña - Galiza - Spain) e que reúne en cada edición a unha coidada selección de artistas do millor do panorama galego, estatal e internacional.
O Festival actúa como unha eficaz ferramenta de rexeneración urbana, pensamento crítico e diálogo social, que convirte vellos espazos en desuso ou abandoados en novos lugares cheos de vida e cor pra o desfrute colectivo, e onde se xeran novas relacións de comunicación non publicitaria. Un grande museo público e gratuíto a ceo aberto.

`La pared del artista catalán Slim Safont se encuentra en un lugar especial dentro de Ordes… Ya que está ubicado justo enfrente del cementerio municipal del pueblo. Y fué precisamente por esta tan particular localización por lo que decidimos que fuese Slim el encargado de intervenirla.

Confiábamos en el tacto y la delicadeza que su pintura nos muestra en cada pieza, demostrando en cada intervención la capacidad para conectar con el lugar y el contexto social tanto a nivel conceptual como narrativo.

La imagen que Slim nos regala contiene varios elementos simbólicos que se sitúan en este contexto con una certera carga emotiva y poética. A nivel pictórico los elementos escogidos se apoyan unos en los otros para generar esta sensación de calma y apacible “saudade”. El cielo, el personaje, el ramo de flores y la luz cenital, juegan cada uno un perfecto rol para alcanzar la expresión cromática y pictórica que le interesa destacar y con la que consigue expresar la profundidad de un sentimiento tan hondo.´

The wall of Catalan artist Slim Safont is located in a special place within Ordes… right across from the town's municipal cemetery. And it was precisely because of this unique location that we decided to design Slim to be the one in charge of the intervention.

We trusted the touch and delicacy that his painting displays in each piece, demonstrating in each intervention his ability to connect with the place and the social context, both conceptually and narratively.

The image Slim presents contains several symbolic elements that are situated in this context with a clear emotional and poetic charge. On a pictorial level, the chosen elements build upon each other to generate this sense of calm and peaceful "saudade." The sky, the figure, the bouquet of flowers, and the overhead light each play a perfect role in achieving the chromatic and pictorial expression he seeks to highlight and with which he manages to express the depth of such a profound feeling.

DesOrdes Creativas is an international urban art festival celebrated annually in Ordes (A Coruña, Galicia, Spain). Since its inception in 2010, the festival has brought together top street artists from Galicia, Spain, and around the world to transform the town into a vibrant open-air museum. Acting as a tool for urban regeneration and social dialogue, DesOrdes Creativas revitalizes old buildings with bold, colorful murals, turning them into new, inspiring spaces for everyone’s enjoyment.
