Né en 1973, Jace vit et travaille à Saint Denis de la Réunion.

Lorsque La Réunion découvre son personnage fétiche, le Gouzou, Jace endosse illico l'étoffe d'un extra-îlien.

Nous sommes en 1992, il n'a pas encore fête son vingtième printemps austral, la voie qu'il

choisit se révele être la bonne.

Le graffeur confidentiel de la fin des années 80 est aujourd'hui considéré comme l'incontournable défricheur du Street Art ultramarin.

Toujours basé sur son rocher volcanique de l'océan Indien, Jace saute la mer dès qu'il le peut.

Une trentaine de pays sont désormais estampillés du sceau Gouzou.

Vecteur frénétique d'amour et de poésie, son style et son message reflètent avec une justesse exaltée sa culture multi-ethnique, son appétit voyageur, sa soif de partage avec ses congénères.

Ce qui ne l'empêche en aucun cas de cultiver un goût pimenté pour la moucate (moquerie) et la joie de vivre.

Mais toujours dans une démarche inconditionnellement gouvernée par un sens

tranché d'humilité et de tolérance.

When Reunion discovers his favorite character, the Gouzou, Jace immediately takes on the makings of an extra-Islander.

We are in 1992, he has not yet celebrated his twentieth southern spring, the path he chooses proves to be the right one.

The confidential graffiti artist of the late 80s is today considered as the essential pioneer of ultramarine Street Art.

Always based on his volcanic rock in the Indian Ocean, Jace jumps the sea whenever he can.

About thirty countries are now stamped with the Gouzou seal.

A frenzied vector of love and poetry, its style and message reflect with exalted accuracy its multi-ethnic culture, its traveler’s appetite, its thirst for sharing with fellow human beings.

Which in no way prevents him from cultivating a spicy taste for moucate (moquerie) and the joy of living.

But always in a process unconditionally governed by a clear sense of humility and tolerance.
