Inspiré en 1983 par un article consacré au graffiti new-yorkais, Yank débute la peinture et adopte un pseudonyme en référence aux Yankees de New York.

Après avoir développé sa signature,il fonde les crews MGC et TNT, parmi les premiers à marquer la gare de Cergy-Préfecture.

Il rejoint les TBK en 1988 puis cofonde les CAS en 1989 avec Strike et Deon, contribuant à l'histoire du graffiti français.

Mais au début des années 1990, sa rencontre avec Neac (RIP) l'amène à intégrer les DKA.

Passionné de punk rock, il parcourt la France, mais une longue période marquée par la dépendance l'éloigne du graffiti pendant près de quinze ans.

De retour à Paris et totalement sevré, il reprend la peinture avec le soutien de ses compagnons des DKA. Très actif depuis 2007, il rejoint le 156 Crew en 2009 puis retrouve Moze en 2010 lors de la renaissance du crew ODC.

Depuis, il transpose l'énergie du tag sur toile à travers des compositions denses et vibrantes, où couleur,geste et mémoire urbaine se mêlent.

Inspired in 1983 by an article about New York graffiti, Yank began painting and adopted a pseudonym inspired by the New York Yankees.

After developing his signature style, he founded the MGC and TNT crews, among the first to leave their mark on the Cergy-Préfecture train station.

He joined the TBK crew in 1988 and co-founded the CAS crew in 1989 alongside Strike and Deon, contributing to the history of French graffiti.

In the early 1990s, however, his meeting with Neac (RIP) led him to join the DKA crew.

A passionate punk rock fan, he traveled throughout France, but a long period of addiction kept him away from graffiti for nearly fifteen years.

After returning to Paris and overcoming his addiction, he resumed painting with the support of his fellow DKA members. Highly active again since 2007, he joined the 156 Crew in 2009 and reunited with Moze in 2010 during the revival of the ODC crew.

Since then, he has translated the raw energy of tagging onto canvas through dense, vibrant compositions where color, gesture, and urban memory merge into a powerful visual language.
