Description

The mural is located in the school playground, near the junction of Noorderbeekdwarsstraat and Teijlerstraat. Here is what Margriet Snaterse has to say about her work:

"As is often the case in schools, the children were keen to take part in a mural. During Resilience Week, the children were able to take part in all sorts of workshops for a whole week. They learnt in various ways about climate change, being more environmentally friendly, the resilience of nature, and what we humans can do to help nature. They also made drawings based on these topics, and I was allowed to choose 10 of them to include in a mural. That explains the different styles. I did paint the whole mural myself, but I copied their drawings very faithfully."

Her painting style is evident in the owl and the tree on the left-hand side of the mural.

Hunter

Mond_00F
I've been hunting street art for 7 years purely for the joy of photography. Most of my photos are taken in The Hague (Netherlands) and Nice (France) but wherever I come across a nice street art mural, I add it in my personal collection. However, taking pictures only makes sense if one can share them...So I'm glad to be now a hunter of the Street Art Cities community !
