Voice of Lake Victoria

The mural Voice of Lake Victoria was inspired by the work of the climate activist Hilda Flavia Nakabuye. The artwork was created by Ukrainian-born artist Viktoria Berezina in collaboration with artist Ksenia Sulaeva as part of the Environmental Justice Conference organized by Mondo and the - Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2026. In Berezina's words, the artwork expresses the inseparable relationship between humans and nature and shows that one young woman's voice can influence the destiny of an entire ecosystem.
