"The artist dedicates this mural to her Ukrainian grandmother - Olechka; to a 12-year-old girl who lost her parents in Ukraine, survived Holodomor and stayed alive; to a young woman who survived the horrors of the World War II; to a woman who loved life and continued living despite the unbearable pains, oppression, unfairness.
Golden Sun in her hands - is a symbol of a new life. Wheat in the wreath β is a symbol of hope. Acorn in hair β is a symbol of survival. Golden wreath and blue sky β is Ukraine. Red braids and white dress β is Georgia.
Olechka lived in that neighborhood (about 100 meters from the mural) till the end of her life."
Beautiful tribute to Nina's grandmother and supported by Niko Movement. @nikomovement @nina.k.art
