An explosion of colour, energy, and interwoven lettering: with “Living the Dream”, legendary New York writer Cope2 leaves his unmistakable mark on one of the façades of the Modigliani Art School in Padua, bringing to the city the raw power of graffiti writing born in the Bronx.
The mural is a pure example of wildstyle, with dynamic and intricate letters, multicoloured backgrounds, spray flares, bold outlines, and layered depths. The elements merge into an intense, vibrant composition that conveys the raw, direct, and authentic visual aesthetic of New York street culture.
“Living the Dream” is more than a title: it is a personal and artistic statement. It recalls Cope2’s journey, from his beginnings on New York’s subway trains to the walls of museums, galleries, and international festivals. A dream truly lived — and shared.
With this work, Cope2 offers Padua a fragment of writing history: a tribute to expressive freedom and urban identity. Above all, it is an invitation to younger generations to believe in their own voice and to leave their mark on the world.
