Lumi Contrast – Projects 1-3 – The Beginning

A StreetArt Bergen Project.

Lumi contrast  is a definition of colors used in designing a room in accordance with the building regulations so that those of us visually impaired are able to “navigate” the area more easy than if no lumi contrast colors were used. This is defined within The Norwegian Building regulations  §1-1 Universal design.

What we have discovered is that the graffiti writers and the term lumi contrast builds on the same foundation – things should pop as writers say. Thereby we have been able to use “to pop” within the Buildings regulations § 1-1 complying with the law.

The pics show the project as when finished and before we started. It is the first we did under §1-1. During the next three we managed to target and solve the task as can be seen on the post Hall of Fame “Lumi Contrast at KLUS” found on this link:
