Pilaarschildering, onderdeel van de stripmuur met de titel De Passage, ook wel ‘Figuren’ genoemd, van illustrator Jan Van Der Veken (onder meer bekend voor zijn illustraties voor internationale bladen zoals The New Yorker, geschilderd in de kenmerkende atoom-stijl. Deze stripstijl is gebaseerd op de modernistische vormgeving en het optimisme van de jaren vijftig van de twintigste eeuw. Het is onderdeel van het Antwerpse stripmurenproject.

A mural on a pillar, part of the comic strip wall entitled De Passage (‘The passage’), also known as Figuren (‘Figures’), by illustrator Jan Van Der Veken (known, amongst other things, for his illustrations for international magazines such as The New Yorker), painted in his distinctive ‘atom’ style. This comic strip style is based on the modernist design and optimism of the 1950s. It forms part of the Antwerp comic strip wall project.
