I once drove through Doenrade and while passing by the community center I immediately recognized the characteristic style of Nash.

On the side of this builing Nash painted one of his characters holding a balloon. The central theme 'Doonder laeft!' of course refers to this community center. Translated it says 'Doenrade is alive!'.

Sadly it's painted on (low quality) wood and it's outside all the time, so it gets damaged quite easily.
