Future from the Neighborhood

This big wall painting was finished in May 2023 for Europe Day by local artist Juri Schäffer. It shows a green and modern vision of Dortmund. The artwork celebrates the city’s title as European Innovation Capital 2021. It includes city symbols like the Dortmunder U, waterfalls, green nature, and references to the Emscher river.
