Medina

Description

Al Kora Street Art FestivaL, Rabat Maroco, 2025

The mural MEDINA was created, inspired by traditional Maghreb architecture. It presents a visual interpretation of the medinas through geometric patterns, arches, and maze-like passages. The work evokes the markets and historic neighborhoods, where paths intertwine and every turn reveals a new perspective. Through its design, MEDINA explores the memory of these places and the richness of local architectural traditions.

This project took place in the Al Kora neighborhood of Rabat, with the support of Moroccan artist Rosh. Together with several other artists, we transformed the urban space by creating multiple murals and engaging directly with the local community. Conversations, shared moments, and exchanges with residents were an important part of the experience.

The project would not have been possible without the help of neighborhood residents, who assisted with logistics such as ladders, meals, and organizing materials. Their support turned the event into a truly collaborative and human experience.
