Un paesaggio sotto marino fantastico, una Atlantide in salsa sicula reinventata attraverso il mio linguaggio artistico personale. Il mare, linfa vitale di questo territorio, da dove non si vede. Troviamo un banco di pesci azzurri, (sardine tipiche del territorio), figure umane, (residenti e turisti), coralli e piante marine di diverse forme e colori e persino un dirigibile. Ogni cosa sembra convivere in maniera pacifica e serena con le altre.
Le cromie nei toni pastello, sono tenui e calibrate con il contesto del quartiere di case popolari dello Spinito. Alcuni elementi sembrano passare lentamente da una parete all’altra creando una composizione dinamica. Una sola sardina che fa da “chaise long” ad un giovane vestito con abiti contemporanei, viaggia nella direzione opposta. Essa rappresenta l’arte e la capacità che ha di tracciare nuovi territori linguistici, ma allude anche ad una amministrazione lungimirante che prima di molte altre, si è impegnata concretamente nell’affrontare temi legati all’eco sostenibilità ambientale.

A fantastic underwater landscape, an Atlantis in Sicilian sauce reinvented through my personal artistic language. The sea, the lifeblood of this territory, from where it cannot be seen. We find a shoal of blue fish (typical sardines of the area), human figures (residents and tourists), corals and marine plants of different shapes and colors and even an airship. Everything seems to coexist peacefully and serenely with the others. The colors in the pastel tones are soft and calibrated with the context of the Spinito social housing district. Some elements seem to move slowly from one wall to another creating a dynamic composition. A single sardine that acts as a "chaise long" for a young man dressed in contemporary clothes travels in the opposite direction. It represents the art and the ability it has to trace new linguistic territories, but it also alludes to a far sighted administration which, before many others, was concretely committed to addressing issues related to eco-environmental sustainability.
