Birds of Kamchatka: Three Symbols of Wild Nature
This impressive artwork, created as part of the «Avacha Street Art» festival, brings to life the images of three majestic birds of prey that inhabit the Kamchatka Peninsula.
From left to right, the following birds are depicted:
Gyrfalcon — the largest representative of the falcon family, a symbol of strength and freedom. A proud predator that has conquered the harsh expanses of Kamchatka.
Hawk Owl — a mysterious nocturnal hunter with a characteristic «hawk-like» appearance. A master of camouflage and a patient hunter.
Osprey — a magnificent fisherman that conquers water spaces. Its powerful claws and special paw structure allow it to successfully catch fish even in the harshest conditions.
This artwork not only decorates the urban space — it reminds us of the richness of the local fauna and the need for careful treatment of nature. Each of these bird predators plays an important role in the ecosystem of Kamchatka, being part of the region’s unique natural heritage.
The project has become a vivid example of how street art can tell about the natural riches of the region and draw attention to environmental protection issues.
