This nice mural is located in the shipyards area of south Pisa, on a pylon highway and was produced as part of the Welcome to Pisa public and participatory art festival in 2017. It reproduces a historic photo that portrays the procession of Pisan workers crossing Borgo Stretto, the main street of the historic centre and it represents very well the working class community of this part of the city claming for jobs by the main company of the city, the French glass producer Saint Gobain. The white and red boat is the one that represents the district of Sant'Antonio on the occasion of the La Rega or Palio di San Ranieri which takes place every year in Pisa on 17 June.
