When the statue of Edward Colston was toppled, Black Lives Matter activist Jen Reid stood on the plinth. She was only on there for a few seconds, but the moment was captured in a photograph, which went viral.
A statue of Reid by Marc Quinn was placed on the empty plinth, but was removed 24 hours later. This mural is a more permanent reminder of that day.
The art is by Mr Cenz, and the lettering is by Inkie, from words written by Lawrence Hoo.
