Jan Poncelet maakte deze muurschildering voor 'Blend by Rauw', het uitstekende barbecuerestaurant van chef Fabio Istoczak dat streetfood naar Hasselt brengt.

De 'Kingpin mural' sluit perfect aan bij de huisstijl en de vibe van het restaurant. Chef Favio staat centraal op de muur, omring door personages uit films zoals 'The Godfather', 'Goodfellas', 'Pulp Fiction', 'Scarface', 'The Untouchables' en 'Leon'.

Het werk werd in april 2024 nog aangevuld met het personage van Thomas Shelby uit 'Peaky Blinders' en het logo van Blend. De kogelgaten in het logo waren een idee van chef Fabio. Ook het personage van 'The Godfather' werd vernieuwd.

In 'Blend by Rauw' hangen trouwens nog meerdere schilderijen van Jan Poncelet aan de muur, sommige daarvan zijn ook te koop.

The artwork was further complemented in April 2024 with the character of Thomas Shelby from 'Peaky Blinders' and Blend's logo. The bullet holes in the logo were chef Fabio's idea. The character from 'The Godfather' was also revamped.

In 'Blend by Rauw', more paintings by Jan Poncelet hang on the wall, some of which are also for sale.
