È stata inaugurata a Sesto San Giovanni l’opera che omaggia un grande medico e attivista, Gino Strada, il fondatore di Emergency scomparso il 13 agosto 2021. L’artista ha voluto rendere un tributo speciale a Strada, raffigurandone il volto su una delle facciate dell’impianto, insieme a una sua frase. Sugli altri due lati è stato rappresentato un omaggio a tutti i medici e gli infermieri che hanno dovuto affrontare questi difficili anni di pandemia. Un murale che ricorda ai sestesi uno dei loro concittadini più illustri e celebra il sacrificio e la dedizione di chi ogni giorno si mette al servizio della comunità.

A work honoring a great doctor and activist, Gino Strada, the founder of Emergency who passed away on August 13, 2021, has been unveiled in Sesto San Giovanni. The artist wanted to pay a special tribute to Strada by depicting his face on one of the facades of the facility, along with one of his phrases. On the other two sides was depicted a tribute to all the doctors and nurses who had to face these difficult pandemic years. A mural that reminds the people of Sexten of one of their most distinguished fellow citizens and celebrates the sacrifice and dedication of those who put themselves at the service of the community every day.
