From Nicole’s website: Created in collaboration Edmonton Mural Festival, this mural explores the feeling of leaving home - an experience shared by many Albertans.

This work is a psychological portrait and shows a person in three states of being. There is a young self, and old self and a current self undergoing constant transformation and adaptation to environmental and technological change.

Embedded in the image are symbols of journey, community and the tension of balancing personal growth with tradition.
This mural is a love letter to my family and to myself, as I embrace all my iterations along this journey
